A Lapsteel like no other.

This special edition Fairytale Lapsteel was created by Oliver, who is also a wiring mastermind. The instrument is covered in a stunning red and blue paint job with a spectacular multi colored headstock. The fretboard received a custom “Supersteel” engraving and laser etched pot knobs were fitted. It also comes loaded with the Duesenberg Easy-Shift Capodaster for easy key changes and the Multibender for creating pedal steel like bend effects.

The electronics, however, is where this lapsteel particularly shines.
Oliver has fitted the “Supersteel” with two of our noise cancelling P90 SingleTwins and an ingenious wiring giving you unparalleled tonal flexibility. Each treble- and bass-side coil of the pickup can be switched on and off individually via two separate 3-way switches. For example, this allows you to combine the treble coil of the bridge pickup with the bass coil of the neck pickup. Or the full bridge pickup combined with only the trebles from the neck pickup. The options are countless.
