A custom Starplayer TV with a hand made traditional amber lacquer finish.

This very special Starplayer TV was made by Johannes. It is finished in a traditional, hand made and hand applied amber lacquer similar to a violin finish. This finish brings out the grain of the spruce and flamed maple in a spectacular way. And it gives the instrument a beautiful, natural and slightly worn character.
The headstock was fitted with an elegant, hand made ebony veneer matching the custom ebony tuner buttons on the Duesenberg Z-Tuners. Adding to this classic theme is the traditionally oiled neck and a hand made ebony pickguard which also carries the 3-way toggle switch for pickup selection.

Two raw Domino P90 pickups and the classic Duesenberg 3-Step trapeze tailpiece further underline the traditional and straight-forward character of this instrument. The 3-way toggle switch located on the pickguard allows you to select each pickup individually or a combination of both.
